International Business Development Manager

Location: Working remotely, with occasional time spent at the headquarters in Wrocław, Poland, as needed.

About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven International Business Development Manager to accelerate our global growth. In this role, you will independently generate the majority of your sales pipeline, drive deals from prospecting to closure, and manage long-term client relationships. This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a “hunter” mindset and a passion for RegTech, FinTech, and compliance solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently generate approximately 70% of sales leads through networking, outreach, and research.
  • Collaborate with marketing and outbound teams, who will provide the remaining 30% of leads.
  • Build, maintain, and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, deliver engaging product demos, negotiate terms, and close deals aligned with  individual targets and company goals.
  • Maintain ownership of accounts post- sales, ensure successful onboarding and drive long-term client satisfaction.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing and outbound teams, provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver regular performance and pipeline updates.
  • Capture detailed meeting minutes and notes for all customer and internal meetings, ensuring key points and action items are documented.
  • Prepare and share a concise weekly report of activities, updates, and progress on customer accounts with the team.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development (experience in RegTech, FinTech, SaaS, or compliance solutions is a strong plus).
  • Proven track record in building relationships with C-level executives and compliance officers.
  • Self-starter with a strong hunter mindset, comfortable generating most leads independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English (additional languages such as Polish, French, or Spanish are highly desirable).

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., PipeDrive).
  • Understanding of AML, eKYC, customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), and fraud prevention technologies.
  • Familiarity with global data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, LGPD, DIFC DP Law, ADGM regulations).
  • Relationship building approach with prospects instead of direct selling.
